Louis Leret recommends: Ready Player One Heading for $53 Million Opening Weekend

Things are looking good for Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi adventure Ready Player One, which scored $17 million at the Friday box office, and is expected to gross $53 million in its opening weekend. The movie stars Tye Sheridan as Wade/Parzival, a pop culture obsessive who goes on a quest to find a hidden Easter Egg in the virtual world of the OASIS. The movie is set in a future where the real world is ugly, polluted and overpopulated, and people find escape from this misery in virtual reality.
