Black Panther almost featured another black hero from Marvel comics, Patriot. There is an incredible amount of excitement building for the next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  Black Panther is positioned to be a very influential and impactful movie not only in the MCU, but in all of Hollywood. Legends of Tomorrow star Brandon Routh has shared a photo that teases the Fortress of Solitude and the actor’s connection to Superman. A photo taken from the set of the series features a crystal structure that resembles the Man of Steel’s secret hideout. Though Superman does exist in the Arrowverse, it seems unlikely that the Fortress of Solitude will actually appear in an upcoming episode of the time travel series. A new report suggests the first trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story  will debut during the Super Bowl this weekend, despite previous reports to the contrary. When Lucasfilm booted directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller from the project last summer, it was believed that the studio would delay the movie to December (it’s the only Star Wars movie releasing in May, not December), but they didn’t. The CW is officially taking us back to Roswell High School. The broadcast network best known for its slate of popular DC superhero shows, surprisingly sharp comedies, and edgy teen soaps has given a pilot order for the  Roswell reboot, which will revive the popular ’90s science-fiction series with an “ immigration twist .” The  Roswell reboot has officially landed at The CW, according to Entertainment Weekly . The 2018 SXSW Film Festival kicks off in March and the first wave of movies that will be playing has been announced. A Quiet Place , the new horror film from director John Krasinski starring Emily Blunt, will be the opening night film. In a couple of weeks, Black Panther will be hitting the big screen as the latest franchise in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
